This unit is a good foundation for IGCSE study and general teaching of political ideologies.
​Key Content:
The political spectrum and ideologies, shrinking map debate, the Russian Revolution, The roles of Lenin and Trotsky, rise of Stalin, how Stalin controlled the USSR via fear and propaganda, the rise of Hitler and Nazi control of Germany, the rise of Mussolini and control of Italy. Skills include essay writing support, source evaluation, comparison and corroboration. Puzzle and revision games.
